"I am the king?" - These are small stories from different children. But they are all about one thing: no matter how different we are, we are all just people. And it is much more important what we feel, what we dream about, what we are talking and doing than some kind of conditional division: by color of the skin, nationality, countries. Due to prejudice, this is so difficult for adults, but as simple-like breathing-for children. This is their dignity, and it is worth learning from them: they know for sure that you are a person, I am a person, and there is no difference between us.

Adelia Amraeva - writer and translator, teacher of German and Turkish. Her story “I want to live” was awarded the prize to them. V. Krapivina and in 2018 entered the catalog of outstanding children's books in the world “White Raven”, compiled by the Munich International Children's Library. The author is convinced that children do not understand and do not accept adult stereotypes and it is extremely important to teach them to be not a wolf, but a person.

This thought is perfectly developed and supported by illustrations created by the artist Polina Erofeeva. She exceptionally sensitively caught the mood of the heroes and with great love conveyed a variety of shades of feelings of children.
