Alexander Blok is the greatest poet whose pen belongs to the works that determined the magical sound of the poetry of the Silver Age and became a link between the literature of modern and classical Russian poetry. According to Konstantin Paustovsky, Blok’s poems, connecting music, poetry and thought, are witchcraft, and like all witchcraft, they are inexplicable and painful. “It is almost impossible to talk about them. They need to be re -read, repeated, experiencing each time a heartbeat, dangled from their languid tunes and endlessly surprised that they are in memory suddenly and forever... ”

The book includes the poems of Alexander Blok, written in different years of life, as well as the poem "Retribution", in which the tragic worldview of the author was preceded.
