Nodar Dumbadze (1928–1984) - the most famous Georgian writer, his works were translated into ninety -six languages ​​of the world. The prose of Nodar Dumbadze is fulfilled by love for simple human values, his heroes, selflessly in love with life, seemed to be born only in warm Georgia, where not a blind person, according to the author, is able to see the sun.

The real edition included two novels of Nodar Dumbadze: the story of the first love “I see the Sun” and the most famous work of the author “I, Grandmother, Iliko and Illarion” - about the life of a boy in the Georgian village during the Great Patriotic War. It seems that all the most characteristic features of Nodar Dumbadze’s prose were reflected here: subtle humor, grotesque, colorful life, pain and horror of war... But perhaps the most unforgettable character of this story is the harsh grandmother Olga, who knows how to swear like no other woman in Georgia in Georgia.
