I was never taught to believe the bright elves, because they honor their traditions and laws, considering the rest of the world only with dust under their feet. I was taught not to succumb to their charm and magic, because otherwise, in my profession and with my genealogy, just not to survive. But I decided everything in its own way and all my knowledge, training and preparation flew into the pipe, when feelings for one proud and selfish elf flared brighter than the Vedovsky bonfires.

But I cannot succumb, I have no right to fall to the feet of a beautiful man, because the needs of the kingdom and loved ones are higher than the requirements of a young, stupid heart.
