I love your eyes, my friend... Tyutchev F.
In 1850, a selection of Tyutchev’s poems once published by Pushkin was reproduced in the magazine “Contemporary”, and an article by N. Nekrasov was published, in which he ranked these verses to the brilliant phenomena of Russian poetry and put Tyutchev on a par with Pushkin and Lermontov. Four years later, in the application to the “Contemporary”, 92 poems of Tyutchev were published, and then, on the initiative of I. Turgenev, his first poetic collection was published. Tyutchev’s glory was confirmed by many of his contemporaries - Turgenev, A. Fet, A. Druzhinin, S. Aksakov, A. Grigoryev... L. Tolstoy called Tyutchev “one of those unfortunate people who are immeasurably higher than the crowds, and therefore always lonely "...
Tyutchev spent a significant part of his life (twenty -two years) abroad (of which twenty in Munich). Masterpieces of his philosophical and political lyrics, the best poems about love and nature were created there. Tyutchev returned to Russia to the current poet.
The present edition includes all the most famous poems by F. I. Tyutchev.
As an afterword, Y. Tynyanov’s article “Question of Tyutchev” was given.
