The same volume to the memoirs of Andrei Bely (Boris Nikolayevich Bugaev; 1880-1934) were compiled by selected chapters from the memoirs “at the turn of the two centuries” (1930), “The beginning of the century” (1933) and “between the two revolutions” (1934). Among the characters of the book are Bely's father, a famous mathematician, professor of Moscow University N. Bugaev; His friends are outstanding scientists of that time: biologist K. Timiryazev, surgeon N. Sklifosovsky, lawyer F. P. Poleko, as well as “Friends -Revgoes” by Andrei Bely (as the author himself called his colleagues in creativity): Z. Gippius and D. Merezhkovsky , V. Bryusov and F. Sologub, K. Balmont and N. Gumilev, V. Rozanov and L. Andreev, N. Berdyaev and S. Bulgakov. Many pages of the book are dedicated to Alexander Blok and Lyubov Mendeleeva -block - two sides of the love triangle, where Andrei Bely himself was the third side.
