The story “Icon” is an artistic retelling of the genuine history that occurred in the USSR in 1956. A certain girl Vera, a Komsomol member and a convinced atheist, during a Christmas post arranged a holiday at her house. She invited friends and her young man. Time passed, and her dear to her heart was not nearby. The guests crashed into pairs, sounded music and laughter. Everyone was fun. But just not to faith. “Well, since there is no my Nikolai, then I will dance with Nikolai the Wonderworker!” The girl took off the image of St. Nicholas from the shelf and spun in a dance in an embrace with an icon. And suddenly a miracle happened... Despite all the desire of the authorities to hush up what happened later, people still learn about the miracle... You will learn about it if you read the story.
