Igor Sikorsky did not invent a helicopter, but created a family of the best helicopters in the world, on which in almost all wars of the 20th and 21st centuries, marine infantrymen and doctors, mail and fire extinguishing, ungarious cargoes and ordinary passengers - and even US presidents were transported. In Russia, this Russian -American genius created the world's first huge multi -engine aircraft “Russian Knight” and “Ilya Muromets”, and in America, where he was respectfully called Mr. Helicopter, unusual seaplanes crossing the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean before the Second World War.
