The problem of illegal migration is characteristic not only for Russia. It is relevant today for all economically developed countries. And with the strengthening of globalization and integration processes, the problem becomes global. In this book, an attempt was made to look at the world through the eyes of illegal migrants, to compile a portrait of an average illegal migrant in Russia, a little closer to find out his life, determine the main reasons that pushed him on this path, as well as find out the details about his lifestyle and working conditions in Russia. The research is based on more than 100 deep interviews with illegal migrants living and working today in Russia.
