Imperialism, as the highest stage of capitalism. Katasonov V.Yu.
The book is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the writing of the work of V. I. Lenin "Imperialism, as the highest stage of capitalism." In the USSR, it was one of the most readable works of the classic, and over the past quarter century it turned out to be undeservedly forgotten. The work “Imperialism...” fully and adequately described and explained many economic and political phenomena and processes in the world capitalism system of the late XIX - early XX centuries. And further, until the 70s. the last century, it remained a good methodological guide for those who studied and observed the economy and politics within the framework of this system. As the author of the proposed book shows, over the past four decades, capitalism has undergone significant metamorphoses. An attempt is made to evaluate how “these changes are“ compatible with life ”of capitalism. The author also evaluates how much the methodology of “imperialism...” is suitable for the analysis of modern events in the world, and brings its own adjustments to it.
