In the forests of Siberia. February-July 2010. S. S.
Leave the city, the country, the usual life, friends and relatives, and for six months to settle in the hut on the shores of Lake Baikal - this is the goal that the thirty -eight -year -old French traveler Silven Tesson sets himself. This unique experience far from native France and is told by a book filled with images of the Baikal nature and reflection on a variety of topics. The book “In the Forests of Siberia” awarded the Medici Prize in the field of essays (2011) has withstood several reprints, and also served as the basis for the feature film of the same name (Dans les Foress de Siberie; dir.
