India. On the shoulders of the Great Himalaya. Grigoryev D.
One ancient Indian legend tells that once the mountains did not stand still, but flew like birds. This brought so much inconvenience to everyone that once the king of the gods Indra with his lightning weapons cut their wings that turned into the clouds, and the mountains sank to the ground. Since then, people had the opportunity to get to their knees, on their shoulders and even on their heads. The poet Dmitry Grigoryev has been doing this for more than a dozen years. In his new book dedicated to the Himalayas, he is trying to combine things that are difficult to complicate at first glance: useful for all traveling information and poetry, ancient traditions and modern stories that took place with him and its fellow travelers. However, our whole earthly life is just such a complex and beautiful mixture.
