Indian fairy tales
Enjoy the original Indian fairy tales published in this book, thanks to the English orientalist William Kruk (1848-1923), which was one of the leading specialists in Indian folklore. Kruk graduated from the college of the Holy Trinity in Dublin, and then for a quarter of a century he held an administrative position in India occupied by the British. He wrote a lot of O6 Indians, their religions, beliefs and customs. Well, understanding how much in the life of every nation means its folklore, Kruk began to record Indian fairy tales. Often in this matter, Indian Pandit Ramgarib Chaube, who graduated from the Presidential College in Calcutta, helped him in this matter. William returned to England in 1910 and was elected by the President of the Folklore Society, of which he has been a member for a long time. W. Kruk held this honorary position until the end of his life.
