Individual endoprosthetics of the hip and knee joints

This book is a fundamental work and clearly shows progress in the field of joint endoprosthetics for more than 70 years. Today, the manufacture of individual templates largely reduces the number of tools used and facilitates the operation of the operating unit, and also minimizes the error during the operation. With the advent of the navigation system, zD technologies, the capabilities of computer-to-urographic research and, finally, robots became a reality to perform endoprostheses implantation, taking into account all the individual characteristics of patients. The book analyzes in detail the results of endoprosthetics of the hip joint with various implants, the interconnection of the position of the swivel component of the endoprosthesis with the state of the spine, as well as with access to the joint during the operation. Much attention is paid to the endo-prophetic joint of the knee joint. Concern is expressed by a large percentage of patient complaints of pain in the postoperative period. The issue of installing the components of the endoprosthesis with an emphasis on kinematic alignment of the components is considered in a new way.
