Infectious diseases and pregnancy. Textbook. Lalayan R.S.

The textbook was created according to the program of teaching students of medical colleges with a degree in Obstetrian Affairs. It presents modern data on the general pathology of infectious diseases, the basics of epidemiology, diagnostic methods, treatment principles, and the prevention of this group of diseases in women who plan conception or are already pregnant. The most common and significant from the point of view of clinical practice infectious diseases in women during gestation are considered. Differential diagnosis and tactics of patients with infectious pathology during pregnancy are illuminated in detail. The recommendations were compiled with the aim of optimizing and increasing the level of training of students of medical colleges (in particular, for midwives).

The publication reflects the main issues for obtaining the basic level of knowledge that contribute to the tactical approach in the conduct of pregnant patients with infectious pathology. Information are given about infectious processes that are most common in obstetric practice.
