The fifth edition of the textbook is written in full accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education (Federal State Educational Standard) in the direction of preparation 31.05.01 “Therapeutic business” (level of specialty) in the discipline “Faculty”. This allows the student to recall all three previous training courses and optimally prepare for the assimilation of the material of the corresponding module for faculty therapy. Further, a private pathology is revealed in detail, which is presented according to the faculty principle: determination of the disease, its etiology and pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The most relevant sections of therapy provide a detailed description of pharmacological drugs and their clinical use. In the preparation of this textbook, the standards and clinical recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the All -Russian Scientific Society of Cardiologists, the European Society of Cardiologists and other Russian and foreign professional communities were used.
