Intonation theory of verse. 2nd edition, supplemented. Nevglyadova E.V.
In the poem and linguistics, there was a belief that there is no clear border between the poetic and prosaic statements and poetic speech does not have signs that distinguish it from prose. Meanwhile, prose and poetry are two types of verbal art, obviously different from each other, “wave and stone, ice and flame”). In the twentieth century, wonderful scientists - Yu. N. Tynyanov, B. M. Eichenbaum, V. M. Zhirmunsky, B. V. Tomashevsky, A. M. Peshkovsky and others - tried to solve the problem of the poetic language and intuitively associated it with the melodic.
In the collection of articles by E.V. Nevzglyadova, “Intonation theory of the Literature”, a solution to this issue was proposed: a determining sign of verse was found - a special intonation of non -adversity. On the vast material of Russian poetry, the researcher shows how, from the point of view of the language, the intonations of oral speech are recorded in the poetic text, how the sounding melodies that express the movements of the soul that are not amenable to naming.
