The publication proposed to the reader pursues the goal of helping students starting to study civil law to take the first but firm steps of this big way. The basic provisions of several topics of the general part of civil law are presented. An explanation of the purpose of these provisions is given, the connection between them is demonstrated. For students of law faculties, as well as for those of their teachers who would like to compare their approaches to teaching civil law with the approaches used by the author.
