Introduction to the physiology of the heart: a textbook. Pugovkin A.P.
The book contains information about the structure, functions, ontogenesis, regulation of heart function in normal and with functional disorders. The authors strove to synthesize classical ideas about the nature of cardiac activity, the mechanisms of its myogenic, reflex and humoral regulation, as well as the results of modern physiological, molecular biological and biochemical studies. Particular attention is paid to the physiological substantiation of the most common instrumental methods of studying electrical activity, biomechanics, pumping and endocrine heart functions (electro, phonocardiography, electromagnetic and ultrasonic floometry), as well as issues of interpretation of clinical functional diagnostics and fundamental experimental studies.
The manual is intended for students of biological and medical universities, graduate students, clinical residents, a wide range of biologists, researchers, teachers and practicing doctors.
