The spouses of Nat and Helen decide to build a house in Vermont. But the plot of the land that they acquired, even a century later, is afraid of the locals because of the rumors about the treasure, buried in the swamp and protected by the ghost of the murdered witch.
The local teenage girl Olive is sure that the treasure exists. She says Nat and Helen that her mother disappeared a year ago from behind the witch. Spouses involuntarily listen to her when things begin to disappear, in the swamps they see strange shadows, and a couple of times they even want to kill them...
