Iris Dutch is a hybrid form that came from crossing different types of xyphium (Kasatikov family). They differ from true irises in that the underground storing organ is not a rhizome, but a small elongated bulb; It dies annually, forming several subsidiaries and children. Monetrotion: open sunny areas: fertile light soils with a neutral environmental reaction. Posper: before planting, complex mineral fertilizers are added (on heavy soils - large river sand), the soil is treated to a depth of 15 -20 cm. The bulbs are planted in prepared holes, deepening by 5-10 cm. Plantings are mulched using sand or small gravel. The carriage consists in weeding, neat loosening, timely top dressing. Irises do not like waterlogging (can bend the bulb). Put: very decorative in mixborders, groups against the background of the lawn. They are perfectly lending and stand in water for a long time. To obtain flowering plants, the bulbs should be planted 2-3 months before the planned flowering period (for example, when landing in September-October, you can get a flowering plant at the end of December-January). Sapphire beauty- plant height 60 cm. The flowers are bright, elegant purple.
