Robert Rozhdestvensky is one of the most famous Russian poets of the second half of the twentieth century. Along with E. Yevtushenko, B. Akhmadulina, A. Voznesensky and B. Okudzhava, Rozhdestvensky entered the “main poetic clip” of the generation of sixties and became the symbol of “thaw”, the era of freedom and romantic hopes for a bright future. Citizenship and pathos, which are distinguished by many verses by Robert Rozhdestvensky, were connected in his work with a deeply personal attitude to everything that happens, crystal sincerity and purity of mental experiences. “What I did, I always did honestly.
