Robert Rozhdestvensky is one of the most famous Russian poets of the second half of the twentieth century. Along with E. Yevtushenko, B. Akhmadulina, A. Voznesensky and B. Okudzhava, Rozhdestvensky entered the “main poetic clip” of the generation of the sixties and became the symbol of “thaw”, the era of freedom and romantic hopes for a bright future.
