Ivan III. Borisov N.S.

Ivan III went down in history as the first sovereign of all Rus', the ruler of not only the Moscow principality, but also those vast territories that he had to collect together in four decades of his reign. The policy of Ivan III allowed the Russian state to get rid of the Horde dependence and gain a powerful impulse for further development. In the book of the Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor N.S. Borisov presented a detailed description of the personality of Ivan III and gives an assessment of the era that the prince formed his decisions, earned the nickname the Great.

The monograph is accompanied by the publication of biographical essays of the historian N.I. Kostomarova, dedicated to Ivan III, Nilu Sorsky and Vassian Patrikeev.
