Izzin. Book of change
Izzin (“Book of Changes”) is one of the oldest books of Chinese civilization and, perhaps, one of the most famous. It is based on 64 hexagrams, special symbols designed to outline certain life situations and reveal their further development to the questioner. However, the meaning and meaning of the “Book of Changes” go far beyond the framework of the “predictor of fate”.
with its wisdom, Izzin inspired many generations of philosophers, writers and other people trying to find answers to the fundamental questions of life and raise a curtain over the secret of being. The influence of Izzin on world culture is difficult to overestimate, it is not for nothing that Gustav Jung, who wrote a detailed commentary on the English -speaking publication, called it the wisest of all books.
In this publication, the classic translation of the “Book of Changes” Julian Konstantinovich Shutsky with detailed notes is included, as well as a rare text created, like many similar ones, under the strong influence of “Izin” - the Taoist treatise of the XI century about achieving immortality entitled “Heads of Sension of Truth” in the translation of Evgeny Alekseevich Torchinov.
