A bush 2-3 m high with a wide crown and brown shoots, with a cracking and exfoliating bark. The leaves are oval, pointed, up to 7 cm long, dark green, in the fall, like all monkeys, yellow. It blooms in July, sometimes there can be weaker autumn flowering, white, terry flowers, up to 5 cm in diameter, collected in inflorescences up to 14 cm long. The bush retains decorativeness up to 20 years.
