Jealous friends
Two bright stars from the galaxy of sixties poets - Robert Rozhdestvensky and Evgeny Yevtushenko - have sympathized with each other since studying at the Literary Institute.
Eyewitnesses described their relationship as friendly-rowing, where everyone wanted to show themselves to each other. Which is not sacred, because both had a real talent.
And although fate and beliefs ultimately divorced them on different sides - Christmas to the end remained faithful to the ideals of socialism, and Yevtushenko always distinguished the liberal mood - the lyrics of both deserved a truly folk recognition and make up an integral part of our poetic heritage.
The kit includes collections of poems “Echo of Love” (R. Rozhdestvensky) and “Favorites” (E. Yevtushenko) from “Golden series of poetry”.
