It was at this time that Anton began to make his first drawings. A peculiar internship lasted a little over a year. Then Fisher honed his skill of the drawer in Paris at the famous private Academy of Julian. In the United States, Anton returned to the already established master and opened his studio. Two years later, his cooperation began with the magazine "Saterdey Ivoning Post", where, among other things, the stories of popular writers were printed. Among them were Robert Stevenson, Jules Verne, German Melville and Jack London. For "Saterdey Ivning Post", cooperation with which has lasted more than four decades, Fisher created more than a thousand illustrations - some of them are included in this book.
