The book of the famous theologian, patrologist and historian of the Orthodox Church of Protopresoviter John Meyendorf (1926-1992) is devoted to disputes about one of the most important and most difficult problems of Christian theology-a single hypostasis of Jesus Christ, in which His Divine and Human Nature combined. A different understanding of the phenomenon of this compound has split the early church, and this section of the Church was no longer possible to overcome the contradiction.
