This work is the first monographic study of Jewish incunabuls. It shows the significance of these publications in the context of the development of the European book culture and the Jewish book, describes the formation of Jewish inconnial studies as a scientific discipline, presented a historical outline of Jewish printing in the 15th century, and an analysis of the repertoire of Jewish first printed books is presented and a consolidated catalog of Jewish incunabuls was reconstructed.
