Johnny Anthony Walker (1937-2014)-duty officer of the head of the headquarters of the commander of the US submarine fleet in the Atlantic region, foreign intelligence agent of the USSR. It is considered one of the most valuable foreign agents of the USSR State Security Committee. Walker voluntarily became an agent of Soviet intelligence in 1968 and worked for it for more than 17 years.

to his intelligence work, Walker attracted his son, brother and best friend. During his work, he transmitted a lot of information, including “KW-7” and “K.WR-37” encoders and the keys to them, as well as information on the discovery of Soviet submarines by acoustic signatures and noise recognized in them. The schemes of American encoders and the keys to them, obtained from the Walker, allowed us to read American naval encryptions. For maintaining contact with Waker, an employee of the Washington residen of the KGB Vladimir Gorova was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.

The book traces Walker's life from a young age to his arrest on the denunciations of his wife and daughter.
