Guy Julius Caesar (100-44 BC) an outstanding statesman and a great military leader of antiquity. As a commander, Caesar made a significant contribution to the development of the military art of ancient Rome. All wars, he waged showing foresight and prudence in solving strategic problems. He sought to arrange his troops concentrated, which allowed him, acting on the internal operating lines, to quickly create the necessary superiority over the enemy in the chosen direction.
