The training manual was compiled on the basis of the experience of teaching a special course of jury in the framework of the master's program. It includes legal incidents for practical classes, examples of judicial documents, as well as examples of speeches of prosecutors and defenders in modern processes with the participation of jury.

The last section contains extracts from the works of well -known lawyers, which reflected a scientific polemic about the jury, as well as two court speeches - the indictment and the defensive - one of the most striking judicial speakers of the past - A.F. Koni and V.D. Spasovich.

The material of the manual can be used by students and teachers both in the framework of special courses and in the study and teaching of the general course of the criminal process.
