Paul Verlaine (1844-1896)-a poet student, one of the scandalous poets of France of the 19th century, the founder of symbolism. Thanks to P. Verlen, a tradition of French lyrical poetry was created, continued at the beginning of the 20th century by G. Apolliner and P. Elyuar. The fate and work of P. Verlen is inextricably linked with the “prone” poets - A. Rimbo, S. Malarme.
