Antioch host is a perennial grassy plant having a small rhizome. The foliage of the shrub is basal, attached to the petioles. The shrub itself grows up to 55 cm in height and up to 65 cm in width. Flotons are almost completely covered with foliage, they are large and reach 120 cm in height. Without transplantation, the Antiochus variety grows up to 20 years.

The leaves of the hosts are dense, silky -shiny, pointed -oval, 25*14 cm in size, with uneven edges. The color is green with a creamy yellow border. Kaima over time becomes white with grayish -green stripes located towards the main vein of the leaf. A sheet with rare, but strong reservation, convex, bends to the ground. Lilac flowers, with a weak aroma, are collected in an inflorescence brush. Flowering period of July - August.
