host is a genus of plants of the Lily family. Outwardly, these are low rosette perennial plants, dense bushes formed by basal leaves. They have thickened rhizomes with numerous threaded roots. They grow in shady forests on humid fertile soils.

Sit on a partial as is a partial and well -protected place from the wind. Khosta loves moist, rich in humus, neutral or slightly acidified soil with good drainage. Place in the holes 2-3 cm deeper, soil level, straighten the roots, sprinkle with the soil and pour abundantly. After that, the place of landing is mulched in bark or sawdust. If hosts are planted in groups, plants are located at a distance of 30–80 cm (depending on the variety). And between the most spreading bushes, they maintain a distance of about 100 cm.

Before planting, the roots must be soaked in a solution of "Cornevin" (1g per liter of water) for 6-8 hours.
