Kozlina song. Vaginov K.
Konstantin Konstantinovich Vaginov (1899–1934) - prose writer and poet, witty, intellectual, brilliant. He is both a tomb of the old, pre -revolutionary St. Petersburg, and an unknown poet in his first novel “Goat Song.”
“Goat Song” is a literal translation of the word “tragedy” from the ancient Greek, and the whole novel is like irony about those last Guardians-collections of antiquities, captivating intellectuals of the 1920s. But not only: scoundrels and panties, stupid and dependent arise in a white night and disappear, leaving either a grin or a sense of anxiety. K. Vaginov, like no one, feels Petersburg, Petrograd, and Leningrad, writing out the most accurate attributes of the beginning of the 20th century in the fog.
