Labyrinth of love. Cervantes Savedra M.De
In 2002, according to a survey conducted among writers by the Nobel Institute, Don Quixote was recognized as the best novel in the history of world literature. The great monument, erected by Cervantes, inevitably throws a shadow to the rest of the work of the great Spaniard, which is quite extensive: novels, novels, plays... and of course - poems.
Poetry occupies a significant place in Cervantes's work: all his works contain many poems and songs. And we can say with a pure soul: in the skill of the versification of Cervantes is in no way inferior to the best poets of his time. In his verses, as in prose, high and low, seriousness and irony, tragedy and parody are connected.
This edition is the first collection of poetic works of Cervantes in Russia. It included poems from famous novels and novels (from Don Quixote, Galatea, Educational Novels), excerpts from poems, songs from plays and interludes in wonderful translations, some of which were made specifically for a real collection.
