Lady Chatterly lover. Lawrence D.G.
The exit in 1928 at the Italian publishing house of the novel David Herbert Lawrence “Lady Chatterly's lover” caused a real scandal. The description of love scenes was recognized as obscene, and the work itself was perceived as a call to destroy the institution of marriage. The Puritan Society of England considered that Roman mocks the social structure and institutions of society and plants alien, incorrect concepts of freedom, morality and relations between people. The full author’s version of the novel “Lady Chatterly's lover” saw the light in the UK, in Lawrence's homeland, only thirty years after the death of the writer, in 1960.
Beautiful young woman Constantius Chatterley is unhappy with her husband, who returned from the war with a disabled person who is doomed to painful existence, the impossibility of physical proximity. It has a lot of sensuality and femininity, she lives in anticipation of love, although she experiences platonic feelings for her husband. A random meeting with her husband’s huntsman Oliver Mellors develops into a stormy romance...
Perhaps, after reading this work, you will think that you have not yet met more beautiful descriptions of love.
