An unusually hardy, strongly branching shrub, reaching a height of 1.5 m, with a reddish-brown or gray, exfoliated bark, with a dense hemispherical crown. The leaves consist of five, rarely of three or seven, leaflets, first pale green, then green with a silver tint due to light pubescence. The first spring flowers are orange-red, in the summer orange-yellow, medium size (3.5 cm). It blooms from June to September, sometimes until October.

Frost -resistant shrub from England, which is released by a small size of the bush. Dry -resistant, but poorly tolerates dry air. Prefers rich, moderately wet soils. Feasted, although it takes out a small partial shade. The cinquefoil tolerates the haircut well and retains a decorative compact look for a long time. It is resistant to smoke and gases, and, therefore, it can be used in urban conditions without any problems.

The barking of the bush "RED Ice" is used as a border plant. In the composition, with perennial shrubs, in flower beds, as well as in compositions, in containers. It looks good with other varieties of cinquefoils. It is recommended for single and group landings in mountaineering, rockers, landscape compositions, on lawns.
