Many years ago, Hieromonk Roman (Matyushin) settled in the Windrovo monastery and rarely among people - but very much is familiar and close to a lot. His chants sound on the radio, in concert programs of pop singers, in the temple, in a friendly circle and at the crib. Growing out of the Gospel of Psalms, continuing the best traditions of Russian poetry, the verses of the Father of Roman are able to touch on any heart. The collection “The Last Snow” included the words of the chants of Hieromonk Roman, as well as poems that were not put on music and are not known so widely.
