John Ryskin is a great English writer, poet, artist, artorist and social reformer. The most famous is the works in the field of art history and architecture, in particular Gothic, and the role in the formation of the artistic movement of the pre -Raphaelites. Among his works, the most outstanding are “lectures on art”, “artistic fiction: beautiful and ugly”, “English art”, “modern artists”, as well as “stones of Venice” and others. In total, Ryskin wrote about fifty books, seven hundred articles and lectures.
