A textbook was developed on the basis of federal state educational standards in the areas of training 40.05.04 “Judicial and prosecutor activity” and 40.04.01 “Jurisprudence”. It is devoted to the study of the genesis of rights, freedoms, obligations, guarantees of the realization of human rights, their legal regulation in national and international law, the influence of globalization on the legal status of personality. The work evaluates the significance of the principle of respect for human rights and freedoms for civil society and the rule of law, analyzed domestic and international mechanisms for protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of personality.
