The book of the famous German writer Erich Kestner “Button and Anton” tells about the exciting adventures of the Louise girl, who everyone called the button, and her friend Anton.

The text of the book is offered in reduction and adaptation. Each chapter has comments and exercises that contribute to a deeper understanding of the content, consolidation of vocabulary, the repetition of grammar, and the improvement of oral and written skills. At the end of the book there is a dictionary.

This reading manual is intended for high school students, as well as for the widest circle of persons studying the German language (level B1 “pan -European competencies of owning a foreign language”).
