Letter and bullet. Reed T.
The new volume of Mine Reed in the series “Master of Adventures” consists of three sections. The first includes the adventurous story of the cloak and swords “Letter and bullet” - the story is completely independent, but chronologically adjacent to the novels “Without mercy!” and "white glove." The second section includes the novel “Hunters for Bears” - a round -the -world escapad in the spirit of Jules Verne's not written books. The main characters of the novel are very young Russian aristocrats-travelers and their faithful servant, a retired non-commissioned officer Pushkin. The third section consists of rather rare stories, many of which have never been published in a book format even in the original language. In one of these “lost stories” you will find a new meeting with an awkward Balagur-hunter Zeb Stamp, known to every admirer of Mine Reed for the dashing Western “Horseman without a head.” And a thoroughly supplemented translation, with the inclusion of fragments and entire chapters that were reduced in previous Russian publications. The story and all stories in Russian are published for the first time.
