Rainhold Messner is an Italian traveler, climber and writer from South Tyrool. In the fall of 1986, he set a record in which it was impossible to believe at that time - he was the first to rise to all 14 eight -thousandths of the world. Behind his shoulders is more than 3000 ascents, 100 primary and 70 published books. In this book, Messner talks about mountaineering, based on materials and documents over the past 100 years.
