The book is built on the basis of letters that Chinese teachers write Zhu Yunsin, a prominent figure in the public education of the PRC, and his answers to the questions of colleagues in the pedagogical workshop. Their theme is extremely diverse, but almost always in letters the concept of a new education put forward by the author is addressed. According to Zhu Yunsin, the ascetics of the new education are little concerned about the fact that conservatives from pedagogy call them all “eccentrics, even crazy”; Their main task is to give all their strengths so that the new education becomes an inextricable part of public education in China and the greatest moral value for students, teachers and parents.
