A thirteen -year -old girl, who is sensitive and anxiously perceiving what is happening around, writes letters to a unicorn, because she has no one to share with and because he knows: one who does not exist can neither answer nor issue. Much is perceived by her hostile and painfully, especially relations with the closest person - mother. It seems that everything is wrong, the conflict is constantly taking place. The growing rejection by the teenager of the environment and the problems at school are forced by the mother and daughter to break off and leave, change the situation. As she grows up, the girl changes, finds herself, tries to accept a loved one. And she and her mother have to learn to listen to each other.
