The perennial forms small curtains with thin narrow foliage. The peduncles are numerous, tall and powerful, completely covered with small blue flowers. The buds are opened gradually, starting from the top of the stem. The flowers are tubular, with long stamens. From a distance, the flowering liatris resembles a magnificent panel for cleaning dust. The height of the peduncles reaches 80 centimeters. Flowering continues in June and July. The plant is unpretentious, but in cold climate it needs to be insulated with rhizomes for the winter.
