The collection includes stories that were not published before. For the most part, they are written in recent years, only two tell about the events of the Soviet era, but in terms of meaning they correspond to the general direction. Real fates, different characters, recognizable circumstances, but the author’s motive is to understand that there is a person? Why does this world come to this world, how does it get along with it and what does it think about itself? The last story, which gave the name of the book, is dedicated to the thoughts of the Moscow volunteer who was captured by Ukrainian nationalists in the Donbass.
